And while I’m at it, I proudly introduce our beach buddy (much to my sister’s disgust, and my amusement!). We didn’t go as far as naming this one, although Lizardo and Lizardina were cute enough to name – pity they were too speedy to photograph.
Last but not least, I love the road signs – the characters are amazing! It’s like a severely out of context maths book.

Friday, October 2nd, 2009I’m back in the UK after a lovely (and well deserved if I may say so myself) trip to Griechenland. Note to self: always allow a day between flying and working… By some strange stroke of unlucky luck, we were evacuated by the Police at lunch time what with the area being filled with great plumes of smoke from a nearby fire. It was a shame really, I’d got lots to do and was feeling comparatively enthusiastic! Second day back and all was well, no more signs of smouldering or fumy clouds, only a few solitary Police scattered around. Order has been restored.
